Purpose

To guide dispatch members in efficiently managing maintenance work requests and assigning tasks.

Procedure

  1. Receive and Review Requests
    1. Collect requests with clear details: location, issue, urgency, and contact.
  2. Prioritize and Assign
    1. Determine priority (Emergency, Urgent, Routine).
    2. Assign tasks to technicians based on skill and availability.
    3. Confirm and update assignments in the system.
  3. Communicate and Track
    1. Inform requestors of receipt and expected service times.
    2. Monitor technician progress and update records.
    3. Close work orders after verifying completion.
  4. Escalate Issues
    1. Report delays or unresolved problems to supervisors promptly.
